What you would do

  • Stage single and double sea kayaks, paddles, PFDs, spray skirts, and safety gear.
  • Check guests in, confirm reservation details, and direct vehicles/trailers to the right parking area.
  • Support launch and return windows at Woods End Landing.
  • Inspect, rinse, and reset rental equipment after trips.

Helpful experience

  • Comfort working outdoors in changing coastal weather.
  • Customer-service experience with travellers, paddlers, or hospitality guests.
  • Sea kayaking, marina, dock, campground, or warehouse experience is useful but not required.
Reservations, phone/email, waivers, and trip readiness

Guest Services Coordinator

What you would do

  • Run opening and closing checklists.
  • Coordinate crew assignments across kayaks, parking, staging, cleaning, and guest handoff.
  • Make sure incidents, late returns, damage, and weather concerns are documented.
  • Keep the operator aware of blockers before they become guest problems.

Helpful experience

  • Previous shift lead, outfitter, marina, rental, hospitality, or field-operations experience.
  • Comfort making calm decisions when several arrivals happen at once.
  • Practical safety mindset and willingness to document issues.
