Licensed boat transport support may be arranged for groups that want help with drop-off, pickup, or reducing exposed paddling distance.
We coordinate with a licensed marine operator so groups can shorten exposed paddling, time their launch to a workable weather window, or get help with heavier expedition loads. Every trip is arranged on a per-group basis.
Operator: Barkley Sounder
We coordinate boat transport with Barkley Sounder (operator: Kevin), a licensed marine operator working out of Bamfield.

- Bamfield to Broken Group drop-off points; Broken Group pickup back to Bamfield; Custom drop-off / pickup pairings on request
- Pricing
- Typically $225/hour, including the operator's return time to Bamfield. Final quote depends on route, timing, load, weather, sea conditions, and job-specific circumstances.
- Reservation
- Request-to-confirm. Minimum 3 days advance notice preferred. Trips are subject to marine weather, sea state, and the operator's safety judgment. Timing or routing may shift on short notice.
